The Croatian School Museum first opened in 1901 and holds collections of educational and pedagogical interest, including teaching aids and textbooks. There are exhibitions showing how the Croatian classroom would have looked at the end of the nineteenth century, the study of Mato Lovrak who was a writer and the history of universities within Croatia. Exhibition catalogues are available and thematic exhibitions are displayed within the gallery. There are separate exhibitions relating to teaching aids for subjects such as mathematics and physics.
