The house of Marin Drzic serves as a theatrical museum and memorial to one of Croatia’s most important writers. The exhibits are arranged to appear as close to the sixteenth century as possible to recreate the Renaissance period that Drzic lived in. The museum contains a collection of posters and programmes that relate to Marin Drzic’s plays here in Croatia and abroad. Stage props and puppets are in abundance. Visitors are encouraged to feel like participants of a theatre by the use of audio guides.
