The Strossmayer’s Old Master’s Gallery was founded by Josip Juraj Strossmayer in 1861 and displays the art work of European artists from the fourteenth century to the nineteenth century. The gallery owns over four thousand works of art. The Baska Stone Tablet, one of the oldest stone monuments inscripted in the Glagolitic language, can be found on the second floor of the art gallery. There are also archives of photographs and newspapers within the building.
