The Gallerion Adriatic nautical collection was opened in 2005 within the town of Novigrad. The museum’s ground floor contains models of ships built between 1750 and 1890 in scales of 1:100 and 1:50. One notable model is Novara, a ship that collected specimens from around the world for museums. On the next floor are battleship models of ships build between 1890 and 1918. Another exciting display is of the Austro-Hungarian warships of world war one in 1:600 scale. Other collections include nautical instruments, weapons, uniforms and toys.
