This Baroque building was built in 1745 by Count Ludovik Battyany incorporating the previous Renaissance style castle into the four storeys. It was owned by Erdody family between 1630 and 1695. The private chapel houses the oldest paintings of the region and the walls and vaults are decorated in Baroque paintings. Ludbreg is a place of pilgrimage.
