Brod Franciscan monastery was first built in 1694 and replaced in 1723 by Baron Ivan Trenk. This was designed in a military style and is considered a notable Baroque edifice in Slavonia. The building used to contain important sacral artefacts and paintings. The monastery is currently being reconstructed but it is still used as a place of worship.
