Cape Kamenjak is the Southern most cape of Istria. It has been a protected landscape since 1996 because of its well preserved vegetation of endemic plants which includes several different species of orchids. The landscape consists of meadows and macchia because of the Mediterranean climate in this region. The cape offers plenty of opportunities for diving and windsurfing as well as following bike trails and walking routes on land.
