The Church of the Ascension is also known as the Cathedral of Zagorje because it is so large. The parish church has two belfries. There is a fresco above the entrance; inside can be found a painting showing the Assunta which dated 1833. There are two interesting tombstones in the sanctuary wall, one for Count Keglevic and the other for Count Gorup. The church also holds a large organ which was meant for Zagreb cathedral. Frequent music concerts are held in the church.
