The Church of the Assumption was first mentioned in the thirteenth century when raids destroyed the Church by the Tatars during the time when it was a convent. It is in the Baroque style having been renovated in 1759. This church has an impressive inventory including The Divine Grave which dates from 1682, a Baroque altar and a portable pulpit. The organ dates from 1834 and font has a sculpture of St John upon it.
