A trip to the city of Dubrovnik is not complete without a walk along the city’s walls. The wall stretches for two kilometres around the city and stands at six metres. The walls, fortresses and towers date from the medieval times and were strengthened at the time of the Ottomans. It can take around an hour to fully explore the city walls and the fortresses. There are excellent views over the city and there is a statue of St. Blaise at the Pile Gate.
