The Croatian Museum of Tourism is dedicated to the history of tourism and heritage. It was founded in 2007 by the town council and the Republic of Croatia. The museum holds different collections relating to tourist guides, postcards, tourist items, audio and video items, brochures and beach equipment. These are arranged in themed units. The museum is located in the Villa Angiolina in Opatija which is a historicist villa that was built in the Palladian style. It is adjacent to the Juraj Sporer Arts Pavilion.
