The Stari Grad castle is close to the village of Durdevac and used to be connected by a bridge across the moat that is now dried up. The castle was built sometime in the fourteenth century as a feudal seat. It is thought that an earlier castle stood here and archaeologists are exploring the possibility. The castle was owned by King Ferdinand I in the fifteenth century.
