Frank Schneider established the first factory of musical instruments in Yugoslavia. He made about 60 different violins which he exhibited all over the world. He also constructed ten violas and a few cellos. A workshop displaying the stringed instruments made by Frank Schneider was opened in 1983 containing donations from his daughter. The museum teaches construction and restoration of stringed instruments.
