The Roman site of Fulfinum Mirine can be found in the bay of Sepen near Omisalj. It is the remains of a Roman town that was built in the first century AD with lots of facilities for the subjects of the Flavian emperors, including a forum and basilica. In the fifth century a Christian complex was added which is linked to the nearby monastery of St Nicholas. Signs of the former Roman complex are still visible.
