The Gallery of Fine Arts in Split was founded in 1931 after the first Dalmatian exhibition of art in 1908. The 3,200 objects of art cover the period between the fourteenth centuries to now. The gallery of fine arts also has a restoration workshop and a library with over 14,000 books. The art collections include works by Vlaho Bukovac and Emanuel Vidovic as well as showcasing iconic art.
