The Glazenica gallery was founded in 1980 as part of the Longlife Learning Centre in the town of Velika Gorica. The art gallery promotes and displays contemporary art. Radovan Vukovic an art historian initially ran the gallery between 1980 and 2001. Much of the art shown in the gallery shows the recent changes that Croatia has gone through in terms of culture and economic factors during the last fifteen years.
