The Brlic family home was first built in the eighteenth century in the heart of Slavonski Brod. It was destroyed by fire in 1882 and a new neo-classical building was erected. The Brlic home produced many notable personalities including Ivana Brlic Mazuranic the author of children’s fairy tales and Ignjat Alojzije Brlic an author. Today it is a cultural monument and contains an art gallery and also exhibitions relating to the family.
