The Topana tower near Imotski is close to the Blue Lake and overlooks the town. It was first recorded in historical documents during the ninth century. Below the tower is a small church which is dedicated to the Lady of Angels and was erected to the townsfolk who helped during the battle against the Ottomans in 1717. The Topana tower has links with the Hasanaginica ballad whereby it is believed that Hasanaginica was buried here. It is not known who composed this ballad.
