The park forest covers an area of 170 hectares and it is a natural heritage site. The highest peak is at 842 metres high and it is a popular hiking area, the town considers the forest as one of its tourist attractions. The woodlands stretch right down to the town of Delnice. There used to be a ski jump that was used for contests here but is now disused since 1980.
