Jastrebarsko Monastery was originally owned by the Dominicans in the sixteenth century but is now a Cistercian Monastery. The building is mostly Baroque in architecture having been extended upon in 1704 but Gothic parts remain of the Church of Mary B.D. The Baroque altar is of particular interest which dates from 1733. In the monastery library are preserved books and maps which date from the fifteenth century.
