The village of Krapinske Toplice is well known for its natural, therapeutic water and has been a thermal spa since the Roman Times. The first hospital building was built in the nineteenth century by Jakob Badl here. There are 4 springs here that reach temperatures of between 39 and 41 degrees Celsius. The health resort is close by to a number of local castles and monuments.
