The Kula defensive tower was built in the fifteenth century in the Renaissance style. The permanent display shows the history and culture of Veli Losinj and the surrounding area. There is an emphasis on the maritime and seafarers past of the town. The collections include local coats of arms, a Greek Apoxsyomenos statue and details of prehistoric sites locally.
