The museum at Ludbreg is in Ludbreg’s open university and has been open to the public at its current location since 1992. Previously the museum was held in the nearby Batthyany castle. There is both a heritage and sacral art collection here as well as other occasional exhibitions. The heritage collection was initially compiled by Stjepan Belovic who was a local teacher and now contains over 450 cultural items. The sacral collection includes a sanctuary that honours the Most Precious Blood of Christ and ministerial items that are no longer used. This collection is held in the Chapel of the Holy Cross inside the Batthyany castle.
