Another notable cemetery complex near Solin is called Marusinac. Archaeologist F.Carrara found an inscription dedicated to the martyr Aquilea. This martyr also died during the Diocletian persecutions of 304. The sarcophagus was buried in a crypt within a mausoleum. The site was excavated many times, first by Frane Bulic from 1892 to 1910 and lastly by E. Dyggve between 1929 and 1930.
