Monte Zaro Park

Monte Zaro is the largest city park in Pula and is located under the Hydrographical Institute and Astronomical Observatory. The park was created over a period of 10 years and is of a symmetrical composition. The park previously had elements of a Romanesque garden. Some of the tree species include Aleppo pine, laurel, privet, Atlas cedar, Himalayan cedar and the Lebanon cedar. There are several fountains dotted throughout the park.
