This well known church is a popular pilgrimage destination and is dedicated to Mary. The church sits above the port and ferry, on a plateau . It was first mentioned in the fourteenth century but has been renovated several times. Of particular interest is a wooden relief of Saint Anne and Mary which dates from the late Romantic period. Most pilgrims visit on the feast of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.
