The sanctuary known as the Mother of God of Mount Carmel in Gerevo is surrounded by green fir trees and can be found above the village of Gerevo hence the name. The church has been damaged by fire in the past but is a popular location for pilgrims. The bell tower can often be heard pealing over the Gerevo valley. Inside can be found a life sized statue of Mary and Jesus.
