Most people choose to ascend Mount Ucka from the village of Lovran which takes between three and four hours. An occasional bus to Poklon can cut the walk shorter. Routes ascending Vojak through the forest covering Ucka massif are shown on the local map available from the tourist office at Lovran. At the top of Vojak is a TV mast and observation tower offering views of Rijeka and the island of Cres.
