The Museum of Novalja was founded in 2005. It holds collections relating to Ethnology, art, local history and archaeology. Of particular interest is that the museum contains an entrance to an antique underground aqueduct which is 1050m long and exits into a field nearby. The archaeological department contains items from research into the Caska locality. There is also a Maritime exhibit with displays relating to the merchant ship that sank in the 1st century BC and a collection of photographs about the residents of Novalja.
