The older part of the castle dates from the sixteenth century and has been extended upon over the years to create a much larger manor house. The building has a rustic manor look enhanced by the tower and the Gothic windows in the Palas. Orsic manor is considered to be a late medieval feudal burg and was owned by the Orsic counts. It is currently the home of the Croatian State Archives.
