Osor Benedictine Abbey

The remains of the Benedictine abbey and the church of St Peter are close to the entrance to Osor. These date from the eleventh century and were in the Romanesque style. It used to be a three nave Romanesque basilica that later became one nave. The abbey once owned a handwritten codex that dated from 1070.
