The Church of Our Lady of Sorrows in Mrkoplaj is a popular destination for pilgrims. A feast is celebrated annually with three days of celebrations. The church was rebuilt in 1854 as gratitude for protection from the plague and inside can be found a statue representing the Mother of God. On feast day there is a fair held outside on the road with traditional food and tamburitza music.
