The Puppet Theatre in Rijeka was opened in 2001 and has shown three different plays which have been shown in both Rijeka and the Czech Republic. The first puppet show was based on “Little Red Riding Hood”, the second told the story of a wise princess and the third was about “Hansel and Gretel”. The company are planning a further show about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The theatre owns twenty four puppets and the costumes are hand made.
