The Riva is the main waterfront in Pula and is a popular promenade for inhabitants and visitors to Pula. It is closer to the city than the Lungo mare but is much shorter. It is a common location for people to enjoy a morning coffee or for fishermen. There used to be a mandrac here for keeping boats. The Riva was raised a few years ago so that the nearby park could be added.
