Saint Euphemia Church was built in the eighteenth century and has a façade in the Venetian-baroque style that was added in the nineteenth century. The bell tower has a height of sixty metres and at the top is a statue of St. Euphemia that spins around with the direction of the wind. The church contains the sixth century sarcophagus of the town’s patron saint, Euphemia contained in a bare stone box that was brought to the town to keep it safe from the Iconoclasts.
