St George’s Church

The Church of St George can be found in the older part of the town. It was initially built as a one nave church in the Romanesque style during the thirteenth century but was extended upon in the fifteenth century with some gothic additions. The vault has painted ceilings and upper parts of the walls with scenes from the angels and saints. There are frescoes relating to St George.
