St Jacob’s Cathedral was entered on the UNESCO’s world heritage list in 2001 as a monument of sacral architecture. The cathedral’s construction was started in 1431 in the gothic style and then in 1475 in the Renaissance style including the dome and facade. Inside the cathedral is an impressive baptismal font, which has four sculptures of the prophets in the central part of the font. The cathedral has three naves and the facade has the oldest form of a trefoil in Europe.
