This monastery is said to have been erected on the site of where an apparition had been seen in the sixteenth century. The original monastery was replaced in the seventeenth century which has been neglected somewhat but one wing and the church are still in use today including the Glagolitic missal. The monastery still holds a library and there are some interesting pictures within the church.
