St Nicholas’s Church was first built in 1266 but was rebuilt in both the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries. The exterior of the church is plain compared to the interior. The presbytery was designed with a star shape and had frescoes added to the ceiling in 1460 which show scenes from the New Testament. The organ was designed by Gaetano Callido in 1780 and the bell tower was added in 1705.
