The botanical garden in Samobor specialises in Medicinal herbs. It was the first private botanical garden in Croatia and was opened to the public in 1995. The garden contains over 250 different species of plants. There is also a wooden bower, excellent views of the mountains surrounding Samobor and a children’s playground. You can purchase herbal teas and juices at the cafe as well as souvenirs and postcards. Tours are available with guides.
