Established in 1954, the technical museum holds over six thousand items. In the agriculture section there is three glass beehives, allowing visitors to be able to watch the colony at work. The museum contains models of spacecrafts and objects relating to astronautical development. The planetarium includes a simulation of the night sky and stars. There is a collection of minerals found through mining and an opportunity to explore a miner’s life in the Barbara pit.
