The Church of Our Lady of the Snows in Belec is the parish church for the village and was initially a chapel after erection in 1674 by the widow of Juraj Erdady JR, Elizabeta Keglevic. The church was enlarged in between 1739 and 1741. The interior of the church includes illusionist style paintings by Ivan Ranger, a Pauline painter and there is a composition showing the legend of Our lady of the Snows on the vault of the nave. The church displays some of the best Baroque artwork in Croatia.
