The Watchtower dates from medieval times and has recently been restored. The building contains the ethnological department for the Varazdin Municipal Museum that was founded in 1933. The items in the collection mainly date from the nineteenth and twentieth century and are all from the local Varazdin area. In the textile display is the Danica Brossler’s collection of lace making and designs. There are also products made from mead and gingerbread. There are also displays relating to beekeeping and viticulture.
