The current building is thought to date from 1819 and is in the late Baroque neo-classical style; it may date from much earlier and have been enlarged in this year. Trenk was the seat of the Velika feudal estate which was well populated. The manor’s gardens consisted of a large park with many varieties of trees, one such tree “Trenk’s Oak” has a legend attached to it regarding Baron Franjo Trenk.
