Turopolje Museum is located in an area where there have been many archaeological excavations by the University of Zagreb and the Museum of Turopolje, of prehistoric sites. The museum holds information about the archaeological site of Andautonia. Here archaeologists found remains of a Roman city, public baths and hypocausts. Many mosaics, ceramics, and coins have been discovered. Turopolje museum gives details about the local folk costume and the local skilled carpenters.
