The Valeria Park is another park which is close to the city’s Arena and is popular destination for visitors to the city. It contains a large amount of topiary that has been cut into geometric shapes and the paths are set at right angles. In the centre of the park is a fountain and initially there was a statue of Cupid which was replaced by Romulus and Remus and then a Sailing related monument. The trees here are similar to those in Monte Zaro and include Yew and cedars.
