The Villa Frappart was built between the years 1894 and 1905. It was a joint project between Karl Seidl and Karl Coningh, and was named after its owner Dr Frappart. The Villa is to the north of the town’s harbour and has a impressive portico and terraces. The villa is notable for the Venetian floral Gothic architectural design. The surrounding area is popular with tourists.
