Inside the Parish Church of St Blaza, behind the altar, are mummies of the saints, three are clothed, the rest are assorted parts. There are 380 important relics stored here including the tongue of St Mary of Egypt Some are five centuries, there are also beautiful paintings inside the church including a fourteenth century polytpch of St. Bembo. Some of the saints are believed to renowned medieval healers and this is why their bodies have been slow to decompose.
