This semicircular arched gate dates from the thirteenth century and used to be the main entrance to the main entrance to the fortified town. Part of the town wall has been preserved and display a lion that closely resembles a Venetian lion. The houses in Vrsar represent different architectural styles such as the Romanesque and Baroque period.
