Zagreb’s City Museum was founded in 1907 by the Brethen of the Croatian Dragon Society and contains objects that date from the prehistoric times to the present day. The museum is situated in the former convent of the Poor Clares, there is an exhibition dedicated to the life of these nuns, and the building is classed as a historical monument. There is an exhibit about the archaeological excavations on Gric Hill and the museum also has a photographic collection about the city of Zagreb.
